Long before gold was refined into bars and coins, it was found exactly like this — as natural nuggets weathered from veins of quartz deep in the earth and carried by ancient rivers and streams. Each nugget is shaped by geology and time alone, with a form and texture that no human hand could replicate.

Natural gold nuggets are increasingly rare. Modern mining overwhelmingly produces fine gold particles extracted chemically from ore — the days of pulling whole nuggets from creek beds are largely behind us. That scarcity makes genuine nuggets highly collectible, often valued well above their melt weight. The largest specimens, and those with distinctive shapes or attached quartz matrix, command particular interest from collectors.
